My Approach
My approach to therapy is eclectic in order to create a treatment plan that is unique and tailored for each client's needs. Eclectic therapy is multifaceted and allows for a well round approach. My practice is rooted in cognitive behavior therapy, behavior therapy, attachment theory and mindfulness. Cognitive therapy and behavior therapy allow us to explore the links between thoughts, feelings, actions and behaviors & to create positive change. Mindfulness helps us to gain insight, be less reactive and enjoy our relationships and lives more fully. My 15 years experience engaging in my own mindfulness practice informs my approach to psychotherapy.
