Individual
Psychotherapy
Individual therapy can be helpful when you are facing the stressors of daily living as well as during times of change in our lives such as changing schools, changes in family structure, moving, moving out for the first time, going to college, change in or loss of a job, getting married or having a child. Even positive changes in our lives can be stressful. Psychotherapy is also valuable when we experience a loss or a trauma and can use additional support in coping with our experiences. Additionally, 1:5 of Americans will experience a mental health diagnosis such as anxiety or depression throughout their life time. All of these are important reasons to seek out and benefit from psychotherapy.
During individual therapy we will work together to assist you in building an understanding regarding the connections between your thoughts, feelings, actions and behaviors. We will work to gain insight into patterns that may impact your life, how you think about and react to situations in your live & in your relationships. We will work together to help you develop new coping skills and increase your own self care so that you can reduce stress, symptoms and improve your relationships.
